My name is Katya. I was born in Belarus and have been living in Warsaw since 2022. Due to my political stance, I was forced to leave my home. February 24, 2022, was the last day I was in Belarus. Therefore, I know from personal experience what emigration, the related crises, and the difficulties of adaptation are like, and I hope I can be a helpful support for people going through this.
Specialization
I work with people experiencing life crises and a loss of inner support. I help navigate periods of change, cope with anxiety, relationship difficulties, adaptation, and the search for new meaning. I have personal experience with emigration and starting life from scratch—therefore, I am especially gentle with themes of loss and change.
Quality
My foundation is 3.5 years of training in existential analysis in Vienna (GLE-International) under Alfried Längle. In my work, I combine the depth of this method with techniques from Gestalt therapy and CBT. Regular supervision and personal therapy are my mandatory standards of professional responsibility.
Convenience
I conduct sessions in Russian, Belarusian, and English. I am actively learning Polish and Ukrainian. I make therapy transparent: I explain in detail how the first meeting goes to reduce your anxiety. My priority is to create a safe space where help is clear and accessible.
Method
Existential analysis teaches how to find freedom even in circumstances we cannot change. I do not act as the "expert" of your life or impose solutions. Together, we look for your personal pillars and values so that you can confidently say "yes" to your life.
Helping you find support during periods of crisis, emigration, and change
I combine fundamental training in Austria with deep experience in crisis and volunteer projects. I am undergoing rigorous international certification, including supervision and clinical practice, to be a stable and gentle support for your personal changes.

Issues I work with
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
COUPLE / FAMILY THERAPY
Anxiety and uncertainty
Constant worry, a sense of instability, fear of the future, and difficulties with making choices and decisions.
Traumatic experience and loss, PTSD
Processing loss, the aftermath of traumatic events, war, emigration, and long-term tension following difficult experiences.
Search for meaning and support
Questions about how to move forward, what to rely on, and how to find your position and inner stability in difficult circumstances.
Difficult emotional states
Depression, internal tension, emotional exhaustion, a sense of emptiness, and difficulties with experiencing and expressing feelings.
Life crises
Transition periods, sudden changes, a sense of being lost, and the need to re-evaluate yourself and your life.
Relationships with others
Family conflicts, communication difficulties with a partner or colleagues, boundary issues, and recurring painful situations in close relationships.
Self-perception and self-esteem
Self-criticism, self-devaluation, feelings of guilt or shame, and difficulties with accepting yourself and your experiences.
Professional issues
Burnout, doubts about your professional path, difficulties at work, career changes, and a loss of meaning in what you do.
Relationship crisis
Growing apart, loss of intimacy, doubts about the couple's future, feeling like "strangers," especially after moving, losses, the birth of a child, or other changes.
The same conflicts on repeat
The couple returns to the same topics again and again, but nothing changes, bringing a lot of pain and powerlessness.
Difficulties with roles and boundaries
Who is responsible for what, who carries more of the load, where "we" ends and "I" begins, and how not to lose oneself in the relationship.
Periods of change
Emigration, family changes, children growing up, separation, or deciding how to move forward together.
Intimacy and distance
Different needs for closeness, support, and freedom; fears related to trust, vulnerability, and openness.
If you haven't found your specific issue
It is not necessary to come with a clearly formulated request. If you are just considering a visit to a psychologist and don't know where to start, we can gradually clarify this in the process of our work.
Scope of my practice
I work with adults (18+). I do not work with active addictions. In such cases, I recommend specialized colleagues.
You don't need to wait until a situation escalates or becomes "serious" to see a psychologist. In therapy, there are no "unserious" problems—what matters is how you are experiencing it. I do not judge or decide for you what is "valid" to bring to a session. If you feel inside that you already need support or clarity, that is reason enough.
You can choose the format that best suits your current pace of life and state of mind. If necessary, we can discuss and adjust the format as we go.
Formats and workspace
I see clients in person at my office in Warsaw, located at Tamka 18/15 in the Powiśle district. My office is a second home to me; I’ve been nesting here for two years now. It is home to my fish and one of my psychotherapy book collections.
I truly value face-to-face meetings—they allow us to notice more details and share a cup of my favorite tea.
I also work online—sessions take place via Google Meet.
This format is ideal if you live in another country, travel frequently, or simply feel more comfortable working remotely right now. For me, online work remains just as attentive and professional as in-person sessions.
Online sessions worldwide
The process is built with respect for the client's boundaries, pace, and capabilities. Pressure, judgment, and the imposition of solutions are excluded.
Gentleness and boundaries
I do not judge or rank experiences by their degree of "seriousness." The focus is on the individual's subjective experience and how they live through it.
Respect for human experience
My work is not based on instructions or universal solutions; I see the meaning of therapy in collaborative exploration and clarification, not in replacing the client's own choice.
Absence of ready-made answers and advice
I view a person as the author of their own life, capable of finding their own position and making decisions in accordance with their true self.
Recognition of freedom and responsibility
Values and professional stance
All prices apply to both in-person meetings in Warsaw and online sessions.
Payment from other countries is available in USD or EUR. I can also issue invoices (faktura) and work with legal entities.
If you are in a difficult financial or other life situation and are seeking help, please feel free to message me, and I will try to assist you.
An in-person meeting in a cozy office provides a safe space where you can openly discuss your experiences. The face-to-face format allows for a deeper connection and focuses on your internal state without distractions.
An online meeting is an opportunity to receive professional support while remaining in a comfortable environment. This format saves travel time and helps maintain a familiar sense of security, while the depth of work and quality of connection remain as high as in an in-person meeting.
A family or couples session in the office offers neutral territory, free from domestic disputes and habitual patterns. The in-person format helps participants feel each other better, while the physical presence of a psychologist allows for the gentle regulation of intense emotions in the moment, creating a solid foundation for restoring intimacy and trust.
Remote work with a family or couple allows all participants to join the dialogue from a convenient space where it is easier to remain calm and open. During an online session, a moderated environment is created in which every family member will be heard, and the physical distance between us does not hinder building healthy communication and finding paths to understanding.

What my clients say
“Thank you for helping me deal with my internal conflicts”
Hi Katya! I want to express my huge gratitude for your professionalism. In our work together, you were always tactful, delicate, and kind! Thank you for helping me deal with my internal conflicts; I feel lighter and more at peace now. Wishing you great success!
“You have an amazing talent for creating a warm and friendly atmosphere”
Hi Katya, I got so caught up in things yesterday that I didn't have time to write a review. I want to say thank you again today for our conversation. You have an amazing talent for creating a warm and friendly atmosphere during the session. Thank you for giving me so much of your time; this experience was very valuable to me.
“You are a very intuitive, gentle guide”
Katya, thank you so much for your help... for the warmth and the sea of support... Thank you for helping me see and feel the two parts of myself that truly needed my attention, support, and love right now... You are a very intuitive, gentle guide. Thank you.
“It was something cosmic”
I want to share my impressions of the session—it was something cosmic; I think it was exactly that kind of 'healing contact.' It was completely different from what I expected, and exactly what I needed today. I’m ready to book the next session!
“You taught me to rely on myself, to believe in myself”
Hi Katya. Thank you for our work. You taught me to rely on myself, to believe in myself, and I’ve started worrying less about the future. I recommend you as a competent and warm specialist.
“A picture emerged that I wanted to bring to life”
I really liked it; some motivation appeared. After just a bit of talking at the start, a picture emerged that I wanted to bring to life. I noticed all the little details: how beautiful and polished you look sitting there, the background, your calm voice, and your ability to empathize. I realized for myself that it’s very cool to talk to new people, and even cooler when you are from different countries and everyone is different.
“I looked at many problems from a new, unexpected perspective”
Thank you! I spoke with Ekaterina online. I was nervous since this was my first experience consulting with a therapist. In the end, I’m very glad I turned specifically to Ekaterina. I looked at many problems from a new, unexpected perspective. I plan to continue the consultations.
“Thank you so much for the work, the support provided, and the sensitive understanding of the problem”
Good afternoon, Ekaterina! I want to say a big thank you for the work with you, the support provided, the sensitive understanding of the problem, and how best to solve it. I can recommend Katya as a professional in her field, a person who is constantly studying to improve her qualifications and who provides value and results for her clients!
“I notice how much she invests in her professional development”
I see Katya’s work in a long-term format—we work together in triads during training. I see Katya as a vivid, sincere, warm, and gentle therapist in contact. I notice how much she invests in her professional development in terms of training, reading, and reflection. Recommended!
“Ekaterina can be trusted; she is delicate and tactful”
Thanks to Ekaterina for the consultations; they helped me a lot. The main thing, it seems to me, is to talk about yourself and your feelings to the psychologist exactly as they are, without hiding anything or feeling embarrassed. Ekaterina can be trusted; she is delicate and tactful, and her consultations left me with a warm impression.
“The most 'delicious' and valuable qualities for me are the attention to detail”
I work with Katya in small groups. In her work, the most 'delicious' and valuable qualities for me are the attention to detail and the ability to skillfully bridge 'then and there' with the 'here and now.' Katya provides process analysis very structurally; she is great at highlighting resources for the client. She is warm, gentle, and supportive. Recommended!
Frequently Asked Questions

No. I am not a doctor and do not prescribe medication. In Poland, only a psychiatrist can issue prescriptions. If necessary, I can recommend a psychiatrist I collaborate with or another relevant specialist.
I work exclusively with adults (18+).
Yes. Confidentiality is one of the foundational principles of psychotherapy. Everything that happens during sessions remains between us, with the exception of specific situations mandated by professional ethics and the law (such as an immediate threat to life).
That is perfectly normal. You don't need to arrive with a clearly formulated request. We can start with how you are feeling right now and gradually clarify what is important to work on.
This is individual and cannot be determined in advance. The number and format of meetings are discussed throughout the process and may change depending on your goals and state of mind. There is no fixed "correct" number of sessions in therapy.
